The story of Samson AG began in 1907, when Herman Sandvoss invented a regulator without an external power supply and founded his company. Such regulators were able to control processes automatically using differences in pressure or volume flow rate. It was a smart idea and a resounding market success. Today, Samson employs around 4,400 staff worldwide and produces versatile solutions for controlling and regulating all kinds of media. Its portfolio includes valves, regulators, drive systems, auxiliary products, signal converters, automation systems, sensors, thermostats and digital solutions.
